FAC Summer Update #3

We hope you have had a wonderful week! Final reminder - today is the deadline to complete tasks that are required to attend the FAC. Thank you so much for taking care of these important details, as it helps us to provide our students with a smooth start to the school year.

Your child's instructor will be communicating information about Studio Time during the first week of class. Please refer to page 29 of our Student/Parent Handbook for full information on Studio Time. PLEASE NOTE - after school studio time will begin on Monday, August 14. This start date allows us to focus the time after the school day on handling the kinetic nature of the first week of school. The FAC will close at 4:00 p.m. during the first week of school - parents who are picking up their child must do so by that time. We will operate on the extended Studio Time hours beginning August 14, closing at 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Regardless of the building closing time, parents should plan on picking up their child on time so that our staff can maintain the commitments we have to our families and artistic practices after school hours. Thank you so much for your help with this.

The Fine Arts Center will be open to all new and returning students and their families on Monday, August 7 from 4-6 p.m. The Open House will feature the following:

• The opportunity to tour the school with one of our Student Ambassadors
• FAC Merchandise on sale
• Informational tables for the FAC Partners and FAC Parent Guild
• Picking up your FAC Parking Pass
• The opportunity to ask questions about your schedule - note that we will have copies of schedules on hand for our new students only. All returning students can access their schedule via Backpack.
