Tiger Feedback
February 2, 2024
We are excited to share two great celebrations with our Cypress Park Family! The first celebration is that Cypress Park experienced the most growth in our attendance rate when we compare the 3rd six-week period of this year with the 3rd six-week period from last year! We had a 1.80% increase! This was the largest percentage growth in all of CFISD's 90 campuses! Thank you so much for encouraging our Tiger being at school each day!
Secondly, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, CFISD will be celebrating students who earned the National Merit/Recognition Scholars acknowledgment from College Board. We are proud of our 31 recipients of this great academic honor! With our 31 Tigers being honored, we rank 6th out of the 12 high schools in the district for the most students recognized! This is another great accomplishment!
The connection between the 3 A's is evident: Attendance, Attitude (growth mindset and collaborating with Teachers and peers), and Academics all go hand in hand for student success!
Thank you for your continued support as we Rise Up! Take Courage! and Do It!
Celebrations
The Winter Pep Rally was a great time to showcase our Tigers. Congratulations to our performers: African Student Association, Cheer, Flairs, and Band. The tug of war is always a good time! It was also good to recognized our Winter Sports student-athletes!

We met with over 200 of our emerging bilinguals to review last year scores and goals set for this year. They know what to work on in preparation for March testing and hopefully exiting!
