PTSO is working to stock my Supply Closet to help supplement your supplies outside of your Academy & Content supplies. These items include:

• Dry Erase Markers
• Sharpies
• Post-it Notes
• Pencils
• Scissors
• Staplers
• and so much more

To access this, you can swing by the library and request from the circulation desk. You can also email Joyce.Claassen@mnps.org & Gillian.Hutchinson@mnps.org and we can gather supplies for you and have them ready for pick up.

Lamination is not self-service here. All laminations will be processed through the library circulation desk. You will need to allow 48 working hours for your project to be laminated (aka 2 school days). We have had Doctorate level adults kill a laminator and printer before, please do not take offense. We need to make sure the equipment and supplies are managed efficiently.

This is the preferred method of laminating of any school materials that need to last the whole school year or longer. Is it just a display for a month or two and then you are trashing it? Then please do not laminate it. This is harmful for the environment and is costly.

This is the least preferred method of laminating because it is costly at $5 a yard. This is ideal for posters that need to be mounted outside for extended periods of time.

We have access to a Risso. This is the perfect machine to help with printing single-sided Black inked quantities of 50+ (No color ink, but you can use colored paper)

Economical & Efficient: It uses a "master" ink film. So if you are printing 50 or 500, it uses the same amount of ink.

Double-Sided is possible, but complicated.

Perfect for Black & White Flyers, test, or forms using white or colored paper.

Not for student use. Ms. Hutchinson or myself will show you how to use this device located in the Burrolibrary Tech Center.

Single or Double Sided Copies from sizes Standard Letter to Legal Size.

Must have your own flashdrive to print your documents (network cable is broken)

Must save documents as PDF or JPEG (NOT WORD)

Tips for Excellent Poster Making!

• Create Word Document (No Size adjustment needed, I print most of my posters this way)
• One Slide of PowerPoint can create amazing research presentation posters.
• Canva platform makes great posters
• I will decline printing of any poster that has not been vetted for typos & pixelated pictures.
• I will decline printing that uses and exorbitant amount of ink. (Ink is expensive, please be mindful when creating posters)

Please come to the library or the Freshman academy office to help yourself to this paper.

Students have access to this paper if it is a part of a school assigned project.

Please do not wheel the carts away unless prior arrangements have been made by email.

We have a controlled amount of construction paper, colored paper, & cardstock that is available. We will have quick grab access to paper if you are just needing to run 30 copies on color.

Please do not abuse the use of the paper and hoard it away like 2020 Toilet Paper. The goal is to always keep the supplies you need when you need it. Keeping it stored will avoid fading, damage, and waste.

The Button Maker is available for use in the library only. To create your own design, you can print or draw. All students must be trained on how to use the button maker before given access to it.
