January 2023
From the Principal
Greetings Viking Family,
As we begin the Spring Semester 2023, I want to provide a few reminders to support students’ success.
- Classes resume January 4th (A-Day)—students will report to Viking Time first (for 10 minutes) to get an updated copy of their schedule. The schedule for the rest of the day will go as normal.
- The building opens and breakfast starts at 7am
- First bell rings at 7:30am
- Tardy bell rings at 7:40am
- Dismissal is at 3:05pm
We appreciate your help with getting students to school on-time. Continue to contact the school if your child will be absent. See the rest of this Newsletter for important reminders about our Electronic Devices/Cell Phone Protocol and Expectations for Attending Prom. Be sure to discuss these with your students.
For families with students in 8th grade, we invite you to attend Open House on Sunday, January 8th from 2-4pm. We are excited to highlight all of the wonderful educational opportunities available at North High!
We are looking forward to another great semester of teaching and learning. Thank you all for your continued support and involvement in the Viking Community. If you have any questions, please call us 531-299-2700.
