We had approximately 50 students attend Kindergarten round-up on April 14. The excitement was palpable. We can't wait to welcome our new jaguars to school in August!

Our Pauline Schools Family Fun Night is just days away and we still need volunteers. If you are able to assist with running a game for an hour shift, please sign up All volunteers receive a free admission ticket that covers the cost of your meal.

Time: 3:00-4:00 p.m. (appt. only) and 4:00-5:00 p.m. (open to any family in USD 437)

Food items will vary month to month.

Our school hours are 8:45-3:45 p.m. Doors open and Breakfast is served beginning at 8:20 a.m.

May 3- Pauline South Move Up Night for 3rd grade parents

May 12- PC Field Day; schedule varies by grade level

May 12 - PC Groundbreaking Ceremony for Building Project; 11:00 a.m.

May 22- Talent Show at PC; Time to be determined

May 24 - Last Day for Students; 1/2 day; 12:40 dismissal

As we reach the last quarter of the school year, please take a few minutes to review important safety expectations for riding the school bus with your child. We want all of our jaguars to have a safe ride to and from school each and every day!

Beginning this week "PC Construction Corner" will be a new feature in our weekly update. I will share with you the most up to date information I have regarding our upcoming building construction project. These are exciting times for PC!

Parents of students attending a Title 1 school have the right to request information on the professional qualifications of your child’s teacher and any paraprofessional working with your child. The information you may request includes:

• If the teacher has met the state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels taught;
• Whether the teacher is under an emergency or other provisional license or whether the licensing criteria has been waived;
• The teacher’s degree major and any other graduate certification or degree held;
• Whether the child is provided services by a paraprofessional and if so, their qualifications.
