The following Westwood High School music students participated and received ratings at District Solo and Ensemble festival on Saturday, March 3rd at Kingsford High School. Students who participate are required to perform a prepared piece and are judged on a scale of 1 to 4 with 1 being the highest rating. Students who perform a Class A piece are eligible to be nominated for state competition at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Saturday, May 6th. Those nominated ensembles or solos receive a *1 rating.

The performances will take place at the Patriot Performing Arts Theater on Friday, March 17th at 7 pm and Saturday, March 18th at 3 pm and 7 pm.

Tickets can be purchased in advance in the high school office

WHS students and staff are off the week of March 27-31. We return to school on April 3.
