Welcome Back from Family Services!
Wishing you a wonderful and productive year!
ERSEA is steady recruiting and asks for your help! We have many slots to fill and want to reach as many families as possible. If you know anyone who may be interested, please share our contact information. We are happy to talk to them!
So often we find phone numbers change or disconnect. Please ensure that you have working contact numbers for parents/guardians at all times. We will keep you updated as well if the changes come our way!
We also appreciate your patience as we navigate through the delay in transportation. As soon as we have approval for the transportation waiver, you will be notified.
Thank you.
Kristie

According to the CDC and NIMH, nearly 46,000 lives were lost to suicide in 2020 alone. Comments or thoughts about suicide, also known as suicidal ideation, can begin small — for example, “I wish I wasn’t here” or “Nothing matters.” But over time, they can become more explicit and dangerous.
Warning Signs
Here are a few other warning signs of suicide:
- Increased alcohol and drug use
- Aggressive behavior
- Withdrawal from friends, family and community
- Dramatic mood swings
- Impulsive or reckless behavior
Suicidal behaviors are a psychiatric emergency. If you or a loved one starts to take any of these steps, seek immediate help from a health care provider or call 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline:
- Collecting and saving pills or buying a weapon
- Giving away possessions
- Tying up loose ends, like organizing personal papers or paying off debts
- Saying goodbye to friends and family
If you are unsure, a licensed mental health professional can help assess.
The return of school brings a range of emotions for everyone. It's a special time when we welcome back our returning families and get to know our new families to the classrooms. It doesn't matter if you are a veteran educator or if you recently joined us at PCDC, a parent or family member or a child joining the classroom, the unknown brings some anxiety for everyone. Anticipate lots of different emotions from yourself and those around you! Please remember your administrative staff has your back and is here if you run into any issues, concerns, or questions. And keep a lookout for the first Wellness Wednesday bi-weekly email to be sent out the first week of school. Sending well wishes to all!
Jenn

5. GRAINS
Here is what each meal should contain:
Breakfast – three components (milk, fruits or veggies, and grains)
