Nixon Elementary Weekly Update

• December 7--Dinner & a Movie Night at Nixon: Just a reminder that our next Family Fun Event is on Thursday from 5:00-6:30 pm. Families should have sent in their RSVP, but if you missed it, please call the office to let us know you're coming so we have enough dinner ordered. Hope to see you there!
  
  
• Cold Weather is Upon Us: Don't forget to send your learners to school with coats, hats, and mittens/gloves every day. Now that the weather is getting chilly, we want to be sure everyone is ready for outdoor recess. We go outside for 2 recesses a day unless it is raining or the "feels like" temperature is 9 degrees or colder. Be sure to send your learners prepared for outside play time!!!!
  
  
• 12 Days of Dress Up Starts This Week! We love to get into the holiday spirit here at Nixon, so we celebrate by having dress up days to get us in the mood. Each day we have a theme for learners and staff to dress up in. It is NOT required to participate, but it can be a lot of fun. I'm including the fliers below laying out each of the 12 days of dress up. We'll post pictures on our Nixon Facebook Page each day to show off everyone's outfits.
