EVG's Weekly Update
Building a Better World, One Student at a Time
Week of May 31, 2022
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend. We thank those who have served our country and those who have endured the loss of a loved one while serving our country.
I know the recent unimaginable events in Texas still weigh heavily on our minds and hearts. The topic of school shootings can be difficult to discuss with young children. I have included a link with helpful tips on talking with children about the recent event. In addition, our school counselor, Ms. Sabatello, is also available to speak with students who need assistance.
Ms. Rhee and our band and choir students are hard at work preparing for the concert on June 2nd. We look forward to our first in-person concert in two years.
In addition, we are excited to offer a Summer Enrichment program that includes an Alvin Ailey Dance Residency program focusing on Jazz/Hip Hop. For more information on the Alvin Ailey program, click here. Below please find registration forms for the Summer Enrichment programs and the ELA and Math programs.
Regards,
Michele Higgins
