Coleman Connection

The primary purpose for this club is to develop soccer skills and a love for the game in a fun and safe soccer playing environment. This is not a competitive soccer environment and there will be rules and guidelines that must be followed in order to ensure the participation and safety of all players.

When: This club will meet each Wednesday morning at 8:00 starting on 9/22/21.

Drop-off is at the back of the school gym doors.

Rules and Guidelines

1. We will only have room for 24 players for this first round of the club.
   
   

2. Participants will complete a registration and agree to the rules. Players must wear shin guards, shorts/athletic pants, shirt, and gym appropriate shoes.
   
   

3. There are no slide tackles. Period.
   
   

4. There will be no intentional fouls. Period. Anything that would be a red card in a soccer game may result in the removal from the club.
   
   

5. The ball must remain below the waist. This is intended to protect faces and develop passing.
   
   

6. Dribbling is certainly allowed and expected to beat players, but players who constantly try to dribble through the other team and never pass the ball will be removed from the game.
   
   

7. All school rules must be followed or you will be removed from the club. This includes not using a phone during our club time.
   
   

8. Dr. Schroll is the club member sponsor and all questions, concerns, or questions should be directed to him first and hopefully from the player when possible. We only have openings for 24 players at this time and the rest will be placed on the waiting list and you will be notified via email if you have a spot or if you are on the waiting list with more directions.
