- All college application platforms are open now. This includes the UC, CSU and Common App systems. This week, Ms. Grijalva will be visiting AOC Advisement to assist students in making sure platforms are open and applications are being completed.
- The FAFSA will not be available until December, in the meantime students can create their FSA ID. This is an electronic signature used to complete the application. More information will be provided to students in Advisement and on Google Classroom this week.
11th Grade
- This week, those students who are taking the PSAT will be participating in a PSAT Digital Readiness check via Advisement. Since this is the first year the test is digital, we will be holding a pre-check with students signed up to take the exam to make sure they are familiar with the PSAT platform, Bluebook.
Thank You for Driving Slowly and Safely in the Parking Lot! You Make a Difference!
Thank you to everyone who drives slowly in the parking lot! Also, please remind your student to walk, watch traffic, and not tp run in the parking lot. There are many new student drivers and it is very dangerous. For our parents and guardians rushing to work, thank you for slowing down and being mindful of student, staff and our community safety. We want everyone to have an amazing day and please know you contribute to this as well. We appreciate your attention to this very important matter! Your daily care makes a difference in the lives of our children and community!
With Appreciation,
Dr. Fine

"Be Present" at School and in Life
The Hart District is emphasizing the importance of students being present and on time for school, classes, and life in general. One piece of this is class tardies. We will be reinforcing this message by teaching important life skills such as punctuality to class. Students who are tardy to class on multiple occasions will be required to attend a mandatory lunch detention. If tardies are excessive, other privileges will be discussed and possibly removed. Please note that that it is a privilege and responsibility to be a college and high school student. Students must demonstrate that they can self-manage these important obligations. Please encourage your student to be on time so they can be present and participate in the entirety of their class lessons. Thank you for your support. .
