The Grapefruit Diet

Why should you choose this diet?
Grapefruit is one of the fruits that enable fat burning due to the nutrients in it that break down and remove fat from the body.
Grapefruit also speeds up your metabolism rate and stimulates digestion.
Adding an egg to this diet will give you the protein you need as well.
Method
Simply eat 5 grapefruits a day with 5-9 egg whites (remove the yolk!).
There should be at least 10 servings of ½ grapefruit and egg white every single hour.
Stay moderately active by walking for at least 45 minutes every day and keep yourself hydrated with plenty of water.
This diet removes all fat from your diet and just consists of protein and the simple sugars from grapefruit. So, if you stick to it then good results are guaranteed.

Day One
• 1 cup of black coffee, tea without sugar or green tea.
• ½ grapefruit
• 2 slices of turkey bacon
• 2 scrambled eggs
• 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
Day Two
• 2 tablespoons of Italian salad dressing
• 1 cup of grapefruit juice
• 2 ounces of grilled salmon
• ½ cup of cherry tomatoes
• 2 cups of leafy green
Day Three
• 1 cup of tomato juice
• ½ grapefruit
• Nighttime snack (41 calories)
• 2 ounces of turkey breast
• 1 cup of black coffee or tea
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
• 1 cup of cooked carrots
Day Four
• 1 cup of black coffee or tea
• ½ grapefruit
• 2 slices of turkey bacon
• 2 scrambled eggs
• 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
Day Five
• 2 tablespoons of Italian salad dressing
• 1 cup of grapefruit juice
• ½ cup of cherry tomatoes
• 2 ounces of shrimp
• 2 cups of leafy greens
Foods you can use as a substitute for any other food in your diet. Of course, you should consume the same amount of these substitutes as listed above.
Make sure you don’t go overboard and if above it says 2 ounces of food stick to the 2 ounces of substitute.

• Onions
• Cabbage
• Cucumbers
• Broccoli
Stay away from these foods to ensure the diet works to its potential.
You shouldn’t even eat these as a nighttime snack, you need to remain healthy as stick to the plan in order for it to work.
