Dear Falcon Families,

This week we will conduct progress monitoring testing. We will also have our first volleyball game. The event information and the parental authorization form can be found within the newsletter. If your child plans to attend the volleyball game, please complete the authorization form.

If you have not already done so, please consider joining our PTSA, as we appreciate your partnership and appreciate your input and involvement.

As a safety reminder, please remember that student safety is our priority, and we are asking that if you are dropping off your child, please do not let him or her out in the road, across the street, or opposite the sidewalk.

SCPS has developed a plan to adhere to the requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Education’s Board Rule 6A-10.089, Section (5) which requires parent or guardian notification and permission forms for all school-sponsored events, activities, and supplemental programs. Over the next few days, weeks, and months, teachers, sponsors, and administrators will be sending notification and permission forms for any school-sponsored events, activities, or supplemental programs your child plans to attend. Please keep your eye out for these forms so that your child is able to participate.

Who: Parent/Guardian of student who wants to attend Falcon Cheer Clinic

An additional meeting has been scheduled for those who were unable to attend the meeting on 8/24/23.

Parent/Guardian MUST* attend this meeting if their student wants to participate in the Falcon Cheer Clinic/Tryout that is scheduled for 9/18-22.

*If you attended the meeting on 8/24 - You DO NOT have to attend this one.

Cheer application, Parent Release Form, and Parent Authorization Form will be filled out during the meeting.

SCPS and the Health Services Team are committed to keeping all students safe and healthy while on campus. Each year, parents/guardians must sign and complete a new consent form for all health care services offered by the district including the care and treatment for illness and injury, as well as the variety of health screenings the district provides.
