14 tickets will be issued for graduation at Ogle Stadium. 8 of the 14 tickets will allow entrance beginning at 6:30 pm and 6 of the 14 tickets will allow entrance beginning at 6:50 pm. If there is inclement weather, graduation will be held in the DHS arena. Seniors will receive 8 tickets for graduation in the arena. Tickets will be distributed at graduation practice on May 19th. Seniors must attend practice to receive tickets.
Parents/Guests should be seated by 7:20 pm as we will not allow anyone to enter once the graduates begin the processional. Any guests that arrive after the procession will be directed to the visitor side of the stadium. We strongly suggest that guests do not leave until the ceremony is over because of the disruption caused when guests leave. Guests who must leave during the ceremony will be directed to the top of the stadium and must exit on the
far right or far left of the stadium. Guests who leave the stands during the ceremony will NOT be allowed back onto the home side of the stadium until the ceremony is over.
Graduation will be streamed live. The link will be available on the Decatur City Schools website (dcs.edu) approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
Graduation is a formal occasion, and we would like each senior to have the recognition he/she deserves. We want each family to see their senior walk across the stage and hear their name called. Balloons and noise makers will not
be permitted. You may leave those in your car and give them to the graduate after the ceremony.
