Saturday, Mar 29, 2014, 10:00 AM
Palmerston North City Library, The Square, Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand
Format
Some suggestions are: things that have worked last year or you are planning for 2014, Apps, eBooks, new/improved changes to your library.
Please come along with a list of your three best/most successful books from 2013 to share - not necessarily the obvious ones, but something a bit out of the ordinary that was really successful.
We will be running a face-to-face version of the Readers Advisory (RA) module from SLANZA's Connected Librarians online professional development course. Learn how GoodReads can help you improve your Readers Advisory service for students and staff, join the SLANZA book group, and explore book lists online. Module includes RA handouts, and participants can earn the digital badge for this module.
HELP! Billets needed
A great excuse for a pyjama party!
Carpooling
For any Palmerston North locals or out-of-towners that are keen to carpool around the libraries on Friday, we will meet at Russell Street School at 11.30am. This is the final venue for the day and will be easier for you to depart as your cars will already be there for you.
