December 2021
I am honored to serve you and delighted to share that we are expanding our membership throughout Florida. We have amazing opportunities available that will help to elevate our organization's mission. Please consider joining our committees as we work to build pathways to leadership, and advance educational equity for all of our students, with a special emphasis on our Hispanic/Latino youth.
We look forward to providing more networking events, professional development, mentoring, and author book chats. As well as; providing opportunities for our members to share successes, and best practices that have been effective in meeting the needs of the school communities that they serve.
Gracias to our partners and sponsors for their generous support of our organization's vision and mission. We also appreciate the heartfelt commitment of our members, as we continue to collaborate to help transform educational institutions.
May you enjoy this holiday season with your loved ones.
Con mucho cariño,
Patricia

Preschool Development Grant
Florida Preschool Development Grant Provides Free Resources to Families
PAEC has awarded a grant to Footsteps2Brilliance to provide a FREE bilingual early learning, digital solution for children birth to 5 years old. The grant will pay the cost of the family licenses and the professional services that Footsteps2Brilliance will provide, including bilingual family support resources.
The grant has identified eligible families as those that meet at least one of these criteria: Migrants, EL students, rural families, low income, homeless and special needs children. PAEC and Footsteps2Brilliance are reaching out to school districts and agencies statewide to assist them in identifying eligible families and to help them get started with the program.
Please consider having your organization take advantage of this unique opportunity at NO COST to make this mobile literacy app available to the families you serve. To get started, contact Mona Ramirez, PAEC Grant Manager, mona.ramirez@paec.org or Lois Page, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Lois@footsteps2brilliance.com.*
