Welcome Back - 2023-2024
From The Principal...
Happy first day of school and happy Friday! We had an awesome first week as a staff preparing lessons, collaborating together, and setting goals for this year. Additionally, our Student Council and Freshmen Advisors worked together to host our incoming ninth grade class for their Freshmen Orientation yesterday! Thank you to all of our folks who made that day possible, and in particular our Student Council Advisors: Liz Tindall and Ingrid Perez. Today was our first day of school, which was a blast! It was so fun seeing new and old faces, supporting students in finding their new classrooms and teachers, and seeing students and staff building community. We're looking forward to our first full week with students next week! Go Mustangs! Anna Conrad Manitou Springs High School Principal

From Sources of Strength...
Sources of Strength (SOS) knows that the start of the school year can bring about a lot of feelings, which can include excitement, nervousness, happiness, relief, fear, and anxiety. With this in mind, we have put together some resources to help reduce the impacts of anxiety. Please check the bulletin board between the front office and the front door to keep updated on our messages and campaigns for this year! If you're interested in helping us spread mindful, mental health strategies each month, join our club meetings on Thursdays at lunch in Doc Moen's room.
