Dear Brooklyn Collaborative Lower Grade Families, Students, & Staff,
On Tuesday, 1/28---as part of the BCS annual "End of Semester Whole School Celebration"---our lower grade students went on our annual ice skating trip to Lakeside Rink at Prospect Park.
Students and staff alike enjoyed a wonderfully beautiful day building community outside of the classroom!
They supported and encouraged each other on the rink. They shared stories over lunch and joked about who had better skills on the ice skating rink.
Students and staff relished the opportunity to see each other another context and a different light.
Student after student shared how much fun they had and best captured the spirt of the day by asking either "when can we do this [ice skating] again" or "can we do this once a month or every other month"!
