Health, Safety, Wellness for You!
A Cardy Hello 🐦
Happy Winter time! I hope you enjoyed recent time with family and friends as the holidays recently passed. This time of the school year is a transition time and time to get organized, at least for me. In this letter I'll touch on a bit about various topics and I hope you find them helpful. Stay warm and healthy!
Winter Activity: Stay Active but Safe ⛄🧤❄️
Fresh Air!
Kids and adults need physical activity, even though it’s cold outside. Bundle up in layers and head outside to build a snowman or have a snowball fight! ⛄
#frostbite
Cold temps means a new risk for #frostbite. Kids may not notice when their hands are too cold. Keep an eye out and show your kids what to do when their hands get bright red! https://bit.ly/3uZ1UpH
Cold weather tips
#DYK kids are more at risk for frostbite and hypothermia than adults because they lose heat quicker. Dress kids in layers when they head outside and keep them in dry clothes. https://bit.ly/3G6i9Yq
4 Virus Uptick: Washing hands can help deter them all! 🧼🧽🛀
