Vanessa Bognar '17
My name is Vanessa Bognar. I graduated MHS in 2017. Then, I graduated from Ramapo College with my Bachelors in Business Management in 2021 and my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing in 2022.
In August, I started my role at Bank of America as a relationship banker. I’m part of a council that supports educating young individuals with financial literacy. I am very passionate about educating students and helping them expand their financial knowledge.
Brett Chappell '17
Graduated James Madison University Class of 2021 with a B.S. in Biology Magna Cum Laude. Recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program on behalf of the United States Army, a full ride scholarship to a dental school of choice. Commissioned as Second Lieutenant on March 5th, 2021 and will graduate dental school at the rank of Captain. Currently a second-year student at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. "The values I hold close to my heart have opened the gates to what I believe is one of the most rewarding professions: serving the U.S. Army as a dentist. I am honored to use my leadership and service skills to help the U.S. Army accomplish their mission to this country and serve my purpose as a Dental Corps Officer."
Alyssa Crean '18
Alyssa Crean of Mahwah was recently named to the Castleton University President's List for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year. To qualify for this highest academic honor, students must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 4.0.
Brittany Ryan '18
Brittany Ryan of Mahwah graduated with a degree(s) in Independent Scholars - BS and Marketing - BBA from James Madison University during commencement exercises in December 2022. Ryan was among almost 900 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees. Brittany is now a working and living in Virginia.

I’m in my last semester at Ithaca College studying Integrated Marketing Communications and double minoring in Business Administration and Live Event Design & Management.
I’ve already signed on to work at IBM in NYC as a digital marketer after graduation and I’m so excited! I had an internship with them last semester and it was incredible.
Emily Kastens '19
Emily Kastens has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2022 semester at the University of Vermont. She is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Paul Kuipers '19
Paul Q. Kuipers was among more than 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2022 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management and Panuska College of Professional Studies. Kuipers is a junior journalism and electronic media major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

Kyra Muller was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2022 Dean's List. Muller is majoring in Business Administration. To qualify for President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
To quality for Dean's List (Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.600 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
Emily York '19
Congratulations to Emily York for being named to the Muhlenberg College Dean's List for the Fall 2022 semester. Muhlenberg College students and Muhlenberg College School of Continuing Studies students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.
Charlotte Fruscione '20
Charlotte Fruscione, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus in Madison, NJ, has been named to the Honors List for the Fall 2022 semester. To qualify for the Honors List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

Jahnel Villalba '20
I’m Jahnel Villalba and I graduated in 2020. At the University of Tampa, I am a dual major in allied heath and biology going into my Junior year. I am currently a medical assistant in a pediatrics. I love working with kids and helping them feel better. While it’s very stressful, it is also very rewarding! This past may I was part of a Cardiology Electrophysiology medical mission trip to Nicaragua. We provided free pacemaker and ablation surgeries. I was the spanish translator for the doctors, nurses, and patients during the clinic and surgery days. Mahwah set me up for a great future!

Abigail Hanson, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2025, has earned the spring 2022 Dean's Award with Distinction. Hanson is a Biology major from Mahwah, NJ (07430), and is a graduate of Mahwah High School. Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses during the spring 2022 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.

The Thunderbird Partnership Program is the newest enhancement to our curriculum. This program invites our community's experts to work alongside teachers and students to bridge the gap between content and real-world application.
When experts work with students and teachers, our students see firsthand how the curriculum they learn applies in the real world. Experts bring insight, passion, and excitement to the classroom and help students build self-confidence, communication, and critical thinking skills.
