Bridges Breeze
Friday, November 10, 2023
This has been a big week! It was great to see so many wonderful students and families participate in the pumpkin decorating contest and enjoy time together at the school carnival! Bridges certainly pulls together as a great community! Please note the awesome Ms. Hansen and her 2nd grade learners during CORE KNOWLEDGE!
Our classrooms are in the middle of amazing growth! Our early release PLC time was a time to celebrate students that are making progress and to establish plans to extend learning or create interventions if we need more support! Our teachers and staff work tirelessly to ensure that each day students have a thriving environment to learn academically and socially!
A couple of reminders for the next couple of weeks:
Monday, Nov. 13, Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Thursday, Nov. 16 - Conferences & Book Fair (gym)
Monday, Nov. 20 - Read and Feed Day - please see more info from your student's classroom teacher
Tuesday, Nov. 21 - Friday, Nov. 24 - No School for students or teachers
Thank you for voting for the Bond Referendum. We are excited about the future office and classroom renovation of the old office to create a safe learning space!
Together in Learning
Mrs. Rittmiller
REMINDER - School begins at 8:10 am. At 8:20 all students need to be in the classroom or it is a tardy!
Staff Spotlight for the week
Mrs. Reed - Grade 5 Teacher
Mrs. Anderson - Art Teacher
Mrs. Anderson is excited about working at Bridges because it’s in the neighborhood where she grew up and she's getting to know a whole new group of kids and adults. Outside of work you’ll often find her outside—hiking, working in my flower garden sometimes sitting down to do some drawing or watercolor painting.
Mrs. Carleton - Grade 5 Teacher
Outside of work, I enjoy reading a book while enjoying a cup of coffee and spending time visiting family and friends.
Stuff A Truck: November 6-16
During Stuff-A-Truck, we will also be collecting baby items (such as wipes, diapers, pull ups, infant cereals and foods, etc..) for Feeding Every Baby. Items can be brought to school along with your Stuff-A-Truck items.
Snow and Flu Season Information
Snow and flu season are just around the corner! In preparation, here are two important resources that are available on the ISD77 website for your review:
