General Information
- Students can find additional information in the library classroom, stop by the library for the code, or just to check out a book or audiobook to start the year!
- We are starting the Teen Advisory Board again. If you want to help come up with ideas for library programs and events, please join us on Friday mornings before school.
- We are starting our reading program for the year - students can have a "reading passport" in the library, and when they read a book they can come in for a stamp, and stickers as we go. There may be additional programs or rewards as the program progresses. Email benninj@sherrard.us with any questions!

Bea and the New Deal Horse by L.M. Elliot
When Bea and her sister Vivian are abandoned by the father on a farm during the great depression, Bea’s ability to work with horses helps them forge a bond with the farm owner. Fans of horse books and historical fiction should check this one out.
I am the Walrus by Neal Shusterman and Eric Elfman
This science fiction novel, the first in a planned series, finds Noah trying to figure out why he seems to have a strange set of powers. Fans of science fiction stories and quests to find the truth, should check this out.
