Classrooms in Process for Growing Minds! - "Phase 5"
Classroom Updates "Phase 5"
Phase 5 of the Broadway Campus renovation includes 12 classrooms. All demolition, framing, ductwork, rough plumbing and electric have been completed. The installation of the refrigerant lines for unit ventilators, insulation and sheetrock are in process.
We are aiming to have a more comfortable, interactive safe space, by working towards a brighter future for our students here at LES & LMS. Once the classrooms are available and ready for usage, we look forward to welcoming all our Lawrence Staff and Students to see the final outcomes of our "Phase 5" Project!

What Makes the Library so Special?
Our Lawrence Librarian, Ms.Lisa Vutianitis, at 195 Broadway Campus says, "The library is an escape and safe haven for students. It's a place to relax, a place to read a good book, a place to catch up on work, study, or play a game with friends. It's a place to connect, with friends or with books."
How to get the resources you need from the Library?
At 195 Broadway, you can find Ms.Lisa Vutianitis - our Librarian who is extremely resourceful and engages students to pick up a book and learn about something new. Students enjoy coming in to visit the library and see what is available to them with a topic of interest in mind.
Ms.Vutianitis has worked along side the Peninsula Public Library to help our Middle School Students get access to having their very own Library Card, 287 Students to be exact! This has become a very resourceful tool for engaging our students, who have interest in pursuing their creativity and learning more, not just in the classroom but on their own - with the help of finding out information on a topic that the student feels is fun and interesting to them. This definitely helps expand the learning abilities of our students.
