The Viking Spotlight is the part in my weekly newsletter used to highlight and celebrate our students and staff anytime we can! If you would like your child acknowledged for something they have accomplished, whether on campus or off-campus, please feel free to fill out this google form HERE. I look forward to celebrating our Vikings and all of the great things they are doing!

Just like that, it's the last week of school for the Fall Semester! Congratulations Vikings, you have made it through 19 weeks (almost) of school! As we enter this very important week, it is crucial that you do what you need to do to succeed on your final exams! This includes getting a good night's rest every night, eating a healthy breakfast every morning, and trying your best! Scroll down for some more studying tips!!

Monday is the only day we will be offering tutoring for Cocoa and Cram. Tuesday through Thursday there will NOT be after-school tutoring. Please plan accordingly. The VALOR before and after school program will be open all week, so be sure to take advantage of that opportunity!!

Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! After that, I wish you all a wonderful winter break with your family and friends. Use the extra time to catch up on some sleep, reconnecting with friends and family, and doing the things you love to do. 2024 is just around the corner, so write down some goals that you would like to achieve next semester...at school and in your personal life. Join us after school on Monday for some studying, tutoring, and FREE hot cocoa as we prepare for Final Exams!!

Last week, the MVA Staff challenged a group of students to a dodgeball game at lunch. The MVA Staff was victorious in winning the first 3 rounds while the students snagged the last round victory. A fun time was had by all!

Last Wednesday, our Beginning Band, Advanced Band, and Orchestra classes hosted their Winter Concert at MVA! As guests were serenaded with holiday songs, it was so awesome to see the growth of the program! Thank you to Ms. Glover and Mr. Caldera for all of their hard work in keeping music alive at MVA!

Last Friday, we held our first ever Viking 1K race!! We had about 65 participants so it was a great turnout!!

Last Saturday, our Viking cheerleaders made their debut at the boys soccer game! It was awesome to finally see our cheerleaders out there supporting our athletes! Great job, ladies!!

Our Adult Education department invites you to a Career Readiness workshop for parents and adult students. This workshop series will include Job search, Resume writing, Interviewing skills as well as educational programs offered through our Adult Education schools: Tuesday, November 28, December 5 and December 12, 2023, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
