Theme for the Year
At St. Joseph Catholic School, each and every day we are training students to be missionary disciples, and learning to recognize God in our lives and in the world around us,
full of HOPE for the future.
Our Mission and Vision Statements
Mission:
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a nurturing and prayerful learning environment committed to academic excellence, training missionary disciples to seek virtue, wisdom, and truth, in partnership with a community of active and faithful families.
Vision:
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are committed to opening the doors so that our students can reach further than the walls that would otherwise enclose them and therefore are able to recognize and cherish the eternal and transcendental goods of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Motto:
Teaching the Mind...Nourishing the Soul
From the Principal
What a lovely Catholic Schools Week! Thanks to everyone for making this past week extra special for the community. We work in partnership with you, our families, to serve the children in our care. Thank you for placing your trust in us, and for working with us to make St. Joseph Catholic School the best that it can be. All with the common goal of forming the whole person, intellect and soul, to build the Kingdom of God.
In Christ's service,
Diane Price, Ed.L.
Principal

Knights in Action!
Frassati Medal Recipients
The Beatitude of Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy, applies to these four special people in class. These children are incredibly unselfish and always helpful to others who may be in need of something. Mercy, at its core is a loving kindness to our neighbor. This epitomizes these students’ behavior towards others. In event of a disagreement between fellow classmates, they will intervene peacefully, resolving the issue with grace and more patience that I possess. Additionally, if a child needs some supplies, they are the first to offer their own. Congratulations to Andrew Pham, Luna Rosas, Akua Aduboffour, and Reagan Roberts! Missionary discipleship at work.
Monday Morning Prayer Service
Thank you, Mrs. Meri and her 1st grade students, for leading the school community in prayer this week. You all did so well!

Annual Art Show
All Creatures Great and Small
What a beautiful Art Show! Thank you to all of the students who submitted their work for all to enjoy! You are sharing your God-given talents with others and bringing beauty to the world. Everyone did such a lovely job describing their art on display. It was a wonderful evening! Thank you to everyone for coming to the show and to Mrs. Stahl, our Art Teacher, for leading the students and supporting all of their efforts! Well done, Knights!
Altar Server Ministry
We are so thankful for our altar servers! Your missionary discipleship serves as an example for others! Enjoy these two pictures of our servers from the past two weeks. Well done, Knights!
Faith Families
The Faith Family of St. Elizabeth of Hungary worked together in Mrs. Do's room to prepare their family prayer cards. Wonderful job working together, Knights! You are forming new friendships across the school, and serving our mission of a prayerful learning environment, too! Beautiful!
Preschool Science
R is for Rocket turned into some fantastic science exploration of how angles affect the distance the rockets fly, as well as how the force of the air affects distance. Nice work, PreK 3!

STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion Engineering, Art, Math) Wishes
STREAM Marshmallow Snowpeople Character Projects - Our younger classes read a picture book along with the character creations, while older classes created a comic strip story related to the character. Some students also created the character's setting using paper plates. Mrs. Doskocil and Mrs. Lopez enjoyed seeing the students’ creativity in the library today!
