SGB Week Ahead

Please join us tomorrow at 7pm in the Parish Center or via Zoom (link below) for our November HSA General Meeting. There's much to discuss as SGB has tons of events coming up and throughout the holidays. We also need to start planning for January and on! We REALLY appreciate when everyone lends a helping hand, as it makes it possible to provide wonderful experiences for all our students.

The year is flying by! I will be sharing our service projects for the Christmas/Advent season during the HSA meeting. It's very important that our students live their faith and help take care of those in need especially in these upcoming weeks/months.

• Early Dismissal for PARENT CONFERENCES (There are no wrap around or School Plus programs provided on early dismissal days)
• Grades K-8 dimiss at 11am
• Sr. Anne's PreK dismisses at 10:45am
• CORRECTION UPK AM = 8:15-10:45am
• UPK Full Day = 8:15-10:45am
• UPK PM = NO CLASS TODAY
• DIABETES Education Assembly 9:45am

12/4: SGB Live Nativity & Christmas Sing-Along 6:30pm (Grades Sr. Anne's PreK to Grade 3, Folk Group & 8th grade)

12/11: SGB Live Nativity 7:15pm & School Art Show 6:30pm (8th grade & all grades invited)

12/18: HSA General Meeting 7pm (Parish Center)

All orders must be submitted the FRIDAY before a HOT LUNCH.

TO ORDER:

1. Go to the SGB Website and click on the order forms at the middle of the homepage. (Right across from Daily Online Prayers.)

2. Complete the form. Send in your money (One pizza payment, One chicken tenders payment. Must be separate as vendors are different.)

3. Due dates are the FRIDAY the week before.

VOLUNTEERS:

ALL VOLUNTEERS must complete the ADNY Safer Spaces Training online. CLICK HERE FOR THE TRAINING. Fill out the form and send it to the school prior to beginning the online training.

Many of you have already done this in years past for SGBS and if that's the case you don't need to repeat it. If you took the training at another ADNY school you'll need to repeat it for here.

1. CHANGES in DISMISSAL or ABSENCES

• Please complete the online form to notify the SGB Staff of any changes in your child's dismissal or if your child will be absent. Any child who is absent for 3 or more days must have a note from a doctor upon return. Thank you!

2. PARKING

• Please avoid parking in the teachers' parking lot. There is available parking in the church parking lot if you should arrive early. Please wait there until your child's drop off time.

3. VISITING SGB & NEW SIGN IN

• In an effort to keep our school safe and know when guests are in the building at all times, ALL adults will sign in when they enter.
