Wolverine Wednesday Weekly
GHMS Updates and Notes (12/13)
Principal's Corner
Dear Middle School Families,
As we approach the end of our first semester, I want to underscore the importance of the following:
Daily School Attendance Matters: Each day holds invaluable learning opportunities, and missing a class might mean passing up on essential knowledge. Studies show that students with high attendance tend to perform better academically. Coming to school isn't just about fulfilling an obligation; it's about paving the way for a better future.
Finish Strong Academically: Our students have been putting in a lot of hard work this semester, and it's the perfect moment to turn that effort into a strong finish. Remind your child to tap into the resources we've got, such as tutoring and ask teachers and their peers for help when needed. Let's finish this semester on a high note!
Supporting Your Child During Final Semester Exams: The culmination of the semester will be the final exams from Wednesday, December 20th to Friday December 22nd. These exams provide an opportunity for students to showcase their understanding of the material and demonstrate acquired skills. A successful performance during this period can significantly impact their overall academic standing. We understand that the exam period can be stressful, and we encourage you to provide emotional support to your child. Please encourage your child to get adequate rest, maintain a healthy diet, and manage their time effectively. These habits contribute not only to academic success but also to overall well-being.
As we near the end of the semester, let's applaud our students for their dedication, hard work, and accomplishments. With ongoing dedication and support, we believe they will shine in their final exams, paving the way for an even brighter future. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a successful end to the semester!
