Character Education Update:
Our focus for November revolves around the theme of "Respect." During our recent assembly, QIAS teachers engaged students in a thoughtful discussion about the meaning of respect (الاحترام). Students shared various insights, including being kind to others, respecting the elderly, and treating each other with consideration. The teachers emphasized the importance of showing respect to everybody and fostering an environment where no one's feelings are hurt. To further instill these values, we plan to continue our discussions on respect, utilizing educational videos and slides in the upcoming weeks.
PTO Message
The BHA PTO would like to take this time to appreciate all the parents, students, staff members, administration and volunteers who came together last month to make our events successful and ask for your help in making them even better next time inshaAllah.
Alhumdulillah, we started off the month of October with the Read-A-Thon, instilling in our kids the importance of reading every day. We had a lot of participants and winners will be announced at the end of this week!
We also ran a Book Donation Drive this month and gathered over three boxes of books for the classrooms, Alhamdulillah!
At the end of the month, we hosted the Crescent Moon Book Fair and invited Ms. Yasmeen to do Book Readings and activities with the KG-3 grade classes. We also organized the community event "Our Islamic Heritage: Palestine" where children experienced the tastes, scents, sights and sounds of Palestine, as well as learned about our Islamic duty to stand up for justice.
None of this would have been possible without your support! InshaAllah, to recreate these experiences for our children and improve upon them, we would love to get your feedback. Please fill out the following short survey (it will take less than 2 minutes) so that we can continue to serve our BHA community in the best way possible: forms.gle/GuJdk4FmSgvais1R8
If you would like to learn more about the PTO, or would like to join us for the next event, please email us at bha.pto@issdweb.org. We would love your support.
Jazak Allah khair for being an active member of our BHA community. May our efforts for the benefit of our children weigh heavily on our scales! Ameen!

AG Campus Pick up and Drop off Routine
We would like to remind everyone of our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Kindly ensure that you always drive around the field when picking up or dropping off your child.
A friendly reminder: there is no parking permitted during pick-up and drop-off unless you are personally coming out of the car to pick up your child. In such cases, please park in the teachers' parking area at the back.
Additionally, we kindly request that you refrain from cutting the line or entering in the middle or front of the queue when picking up and dropping off your child.
For a visual guide to the pick-up and drop-off route, please refer to the image below.
Staying Home When Not Feeling Well
To ensure the well-being of our school community, please keep your child at home if they show flu-like symptoms. If a student has had a fever, we kindly ask that they wait for 24 hours after the fever has gone away without using fever-reducing medication before returning to school.
Your cooperation in following this guideline helps us maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and support.
