4th Grade Angel Tree Project
We are extremely proud of our 4th graders! They were able to bring joy to 24 Christmas Angels. They worked hard earning money and shopping for special items that they knew their angel would love. Walmart donated an extra $100 to our West Wing staff angels. We were able to shop for 3 angels from donations from our staff too! The Salvation Army will be featuring West Wing School in their promotional ads and on Facebook. We can't wait to see these soon and will share them when they're out! Our 4th graders left Walmart filling trucks and cars with bags of items including 10 bikes!
Thank you to all of the students, families, and West Wing staff for helping to make someone's Holiday joyful!

Dear West Wing Parents,
If you feel your child has gifted traits, please register him/her for gifted testing to see if he/she is eligible for gifted services in DVUSD. Registration for the next round of gifted testing is now open. Parents/Guardians must be the ones to register their child. The registration link can be found on the Gifted Services website https://www.dvusd.org/Page/65819. Registration closes January 1, 2024. Testing will take place in February. If you have questions, please contact one of our gifted specialists Natasha Gieber (K-4) or Tiffani Morrison (5-8).
*If you are a parent of a second or fourth grade student, all second and fourth grade students will be tested for gifted. Students in those grade levels do NOT need to be registered for testing. Parents have the option to opt out of testing their child, if they wish. More information about that testing will be coming from the grade level teachers as those testing dates approach. *
Fun with Mr. Jingles
Fun in the Cafeteria!
Mr. Jingles made breakfast for the kids on Wednesday.
Where is Mr. Jingles?
The kids had to look high to find Mr. Jingles!
What?!
Mr. Jingles was found in the milk refigerator! What a silly little elf!
