2022-2023 Opt-In Communication for CVUSD Advisory Council/Committee Updates
In CVUSD, parent/guardian engagement and participation is a top priority! Participation is encouraged through many organizations and activities. Several CVUSD Advisory Councils/Committees that support parent/guardian participation are listed below, with the OPTION for you to select any or all to receive communications from the school’s identified parent/guardian representative and/or from school site administration. This communication would provide information and updates to you related to the Advisory Council/Committee meetings. Please select the Council(s)/Committee(s) that you would like to receive information and updates on, approximately monthly. If you have students at multiple school sites, please submit the form for each school. Additionally, if you opted-in last year, please plan to do so annually. Importantly, should you choose to opt-in to receiving these updates, the parent/guardian representative for the Advisory Council(s)/Committees(s) and/or the administration will not share your email address with others. You also have the ability to opt-out at any time in the event you no longer wish to receive the Advisory Council/Committee information.
If you would like to learn more about these Advisory Councils/Committees, or other ways to get involved at CVUSD, please go to: https://www.conejousd.org/domain/1365
If you have any questions in this regard, please contact name/email.

Covid Test Expiration Date Information
Per Federal Drug Administration (“FDA”), some at-home COVID test expiration dates may be extended to a later date. If the Expiration Date column says that the shelf-life is "extended," there is a link to "updated expiration dates" where you can find a list of the original expiration dates and the new expiration dates https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/home-otc-covid-19-diagnostic-tests.
Find the original expiration date on the box label of your test and then look for the new expiration date in the "updated expiration dates" table for your test. The majority of the free at-home COVID tests provided by CVUSD are the iHealth COVID-10 Antigen Rapid tests (see below). Please check the link https://www.fda.gov/media/158007/download to determine whether the expiration date has been extended. Most have been extended at least six (6) months.
We have also been recently notified by the district that a few defective iHealth COVID-19 test kits that had an absent or very faint control line, or no liquid left in the test vile. The defective test kit lot numbers have been identified as:
221CO20130
221CO20103
221CO20124
221CO20203
211CO21216
Lot numbers are listed on the backside of the iHealth COVID-19 test kit packaging (see screenshots below).
If you discover an iHealth COVID-19 test kit in your inventory with one of these lot numbers, we advise that you discard the test kit immediately.
Should you have any questions, concerns, or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a safe, healthy & festive winter break.
Keep safe and well,
Kristine Kawaguchi, MPH
