Congratulations to the four Fugett students who participated in the Gettysburg Address contest Friday night in West Chester. iHistory Club members, Dane Bellucci, Andrew Chen, Katie Keeler and Adwaith Shamjith, (led my Mr. Switft) all performed flawlessly on Friday night. Fugett took First, Second and Third place with Adwaith winning the contest! Congratulations to all four participants and Mr. Swift!

Audition sign-ups for the cast of Drama Club's Mary Poppins Jr. are now posted outside of Mr. Hill's Chorus room. Please sign up for one day only, and make certain that you have picked up a copy of the audition packet (linked below), joined the Schoology group for Drama Club, and are practicing the music using the audio posted in the group's resources. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hill, Mr. Miller, or Ms. Richards.

We would like to welcome students to the FUGETT SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB! It’s time for the winter 2023-2024 season to begin! We are looking forward to several fantastic trips.

2023-2024 Bear Creek Mountain Resort Group Pass Program

Below are the rules and regulations for the passes:

• Multi-session/season passes are non-transferable.

• Passes expire at the end of the 2023-2024 season and may not be rolled over to another year.

• No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the session passes.

• No refunds will be issued for any reason on a season pass.

• Minors renting equipment require the signature of a parent or guardian. Parental release forms are available on our website once signed it is valid for the season.

• If you lose your pass there is a $10 replacement fee

• Multi session passes are valid Monday through Friday all day (non- resort holiday)

• Resort holidays for the 2023-2024 season are December 23, 2023, through January 1, 2024, January 13-15, 2024, and February 17-19, 2024.

When purchasing your pass or passes, you will need to have handy; credit card for purchase, full name, address, phone number and birth date of each of the pass holders. If renting equipment, height and weight information is also required.

Students learned how to use empathy as a motivational tool to increase compassion in everyday life. Opportunities regarding how students can practice compassion at a local or national level were discussed.

Recess Equipment

The PTO is currently collecting new and gently used sports equipment for the students to use during lunch/recess time. If you are able, please check out our Sign Up Genius and donate today! Also if you would like to help, but don't have the time to research and order an item, we are also taking donations through Venmo. Please reference a recess item when sending a Venmo. Please wait until 7:00 to let children out of the car. We have staff ready to welcome students every morning, but this role does not start until 7:00.

To serve you better, families may drop off and/or pick up East and Fugett students at either building, as long at you are using the typical drop off/pick up location.

Parents: Please encourage your children to check their backpack for toys and water guns before coming to school after a weekend. We understand that backpacks may serve a dual purpose over the weekend, but any items in violation of the WCASD Discipline Manual will result in student disciplinary outcomes.
