Welcome Rachael Wilhelm, new NOE Counselor!
I am really excited to be the new School Counselor here at North Ohio. I have been working at North Ohio since 2015 as the Mental Health Counselor through Alcona Health Center. During my time in this role, I have been able to build relationships with students and parents by providing individual mental health therapy services, provide parent training and resources, and supporting staff here at North Ohio with students concerns related to overall mental health. I am looking forward to transitioning to this new role at North Ohio as the School Counselor and getting to know each student better as well as help with any concerns that you may have as a parent. In this role I will be able to be in your child’s classroom providing Social/Emotional Lessons, engage students in small groups, and provide individual support to students as needed as well.
It is great how life can come full circle as I too attended North Ohio as an elementary student and now have the opportunity to work at North Ohio Elementary School as well. If you have any needs or concerns that I can assist with, please reach out to me here at school! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child better in this role as the North Ohio School Counselor.
