Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year. Teachers and staff have been busily working and are excited to have our students back on campus. This newsletter will detail important information to set you school year up for success.

School Bus Information

If your child rides a school bus please check in with Mr. Dietz in the cafeteria during Meet the Teacher Night to confirm route information.

All Era ISD Athletic Event tickets will be sold at the gate of the event.

Picture Day is Here!

Tuesday, August 23rd will be picture day for all students. Bring your smiling, fresh faces to showcase your Hornet pride!

2022-2023 Student Meal Prices

2022-2023 Meal Prices Breakfast $1.85 and Lunch $3.10. No need to pack those lunches or stop to make breakfast, let us take care of that. Good grades begins with good nutrition. So let us help your child become the Star Student they were meant to be.

Lunchtime Tips

Lunchtime can be hard for our new Hornets, especially with time limits and more. Please help us prepare for lunchtime at school by practicing these tips at meal times.

Star Students

Exciting new things are happening in the Hornet Café! We know that good grades begins with good nutrition. Let us help your child become the STAR STUDENT they were meant to be. Our goal this year is to celebrate your child anytime they have a breakthrough moment in their educational journey. We want to add their name to Wall of Stars in the Cafeteria.

Teacher Letters Coming Soon!

Teacher letters have been mailed out to all students, and our elementary teachers are anxiously awaiting meeting their students. Please reach out to Mrs. Dean in the office if you did not receive yours by Monday, August 8th. I have also sent a welcome letter to all families detailing some specifics for the first day of school, carline, and campus visitor information. A digital copy can be found here.

Student Schedules

Student schedules are available in Parent Portal. Students in grades 9-12 may currently pick them up from Mrs. Huddleston in the office. Schedules for students in 6th - 8th grades will be available at Meet the Teacher Night.
