Hello SBE Families!

During the month of November, our staff and students will be reflecting on what we are grateful for in our class and school.

We are grateful for the Emmett District and the Board of Trustees for purchasing a security system for our front doors that is similar to the Emmett Middle School. We are still waiting to hear on when they will be installed. The company is waiting on certain parts to start the installation. In the meantime, we will be working on a more secure pick-up process for students that are going home during the day. I appreciate your support as we transition to a more secure method of picking up students. Look for more information and details in the coming weeks.

Thank you for attending our STEAM night, last Friday. We had 168 children and 108 adults attend.

Donate your gently used clothes and shoes to the Collection Bin that is located in the Southeast Corner of the Visitor Parking Lot. ECO World will be donating the items to local nonprofits. Our school will receive .04 cents per pound of the items that are donated.

• If there are changes on how your children will be going home at the end of the day, those changes must be called into the office at 208-365-0877 by 3:15 pm and on Wednesdays by 1:45 pm.

Please remind students that toys, trading cards like Pokemon cards and other valuables are a distraction as we are learning. Keep these items at home.

Attendance is super important to ensure students are learning grade level concepts. Please bring students on time and every day. Call the office or email sbeattendance@isd221.net to excuse your child if they are absent for any reason. If doctor appointments are necessary during the school day, please bring a doctor's note for our records. We really appreciate your help!

Our Huskie Hustle on October 14th was a huge success!

We raised over $8000 to fund our Field Trips!

Our top Prize Winners were:

1st Place: Tommy S. and Ryver P. each won a bike

(donated by Rocky Mountain True Value in Emmett)

2nd Place: Koy K. and Cambria J. each won Scooters

3rd Place: Annabella B. and Presley D. each won Skateboards

Thanks to everyone for your donations and to all those that helped to make our Huskie Hustle a success.

Shadow Butte Trunk or Treat was so much fun for our students! Thank you to the Community, PTO, Staff and Parents for all the hard work to make it a success!

Hello Shadow Butte Families!

We have a great opportunity to bring the Girls on the Run program to Shadow Butte this spring. Girls on the Run is a program that helps teach girls in grades 3-5 self-esteem tools, which includes physical health. We are looking to see if there is enough interest to start the program and if people are willing to volunteer to become a coach and help the girls learn valuable life skills. Texas Roadhouse Roll Pick-Up

The PTO team needs volunteers to assist with roll pick-up at the school on 11/16, 11/17 and 11/18. Sign up for a slot where all you'll need to do is give people their rolls and mark them off a list!

Volunteers assisted with the water and bubble stations for the Huskie Hustle. Events like this are only possible with volunteers!
