Scholarship Opportunities - Training 4 u
Attached is a copy of Training 4 U Senior Scholarship Forms and also our 2024 Calendar.
The Essay Scholarship is accepted for the following classes at TA4U:
Dental Assistant – 10 weeks
Medical Assistant – 15 weeks
Massage Therapy – 18 weeks
Rotary Club of Waxahachie Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Waxahachie Scholarship has been established to recognize motivated achievement, leadership and “service above self”. This scholarship will assist students in their college or technical education. Any student graduating from any Waxahachie high school is eligible for consideration. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERACT ALTHOUGH IT IS A PLUS.
Scholarships range in value from $500 to $1,500 for the Fall semester with one four-year, $1,000 scholarship being offered. It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow the directions in the letter of notification to get the scholarship. Do not lose that letter if it comes to you.
Applications for scholarships must be in our hands by Friday, March 22.
Prom
This year the 2024 Prom will be hosted at the Reserve Venue at the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 7:00PM – 11:00 PM. The theme will be Savanna Nights. Rachel Adams and myself will be the Prom Sponsors this year.
Prom ticket sales will begin online on January 1, 2024. Please tell junior/senior students that they may pay via REVTRAK or pay by cash/check to Mrs. West in the Counselors Office beginning on January 8, 2024.
Tickets will cost $55 per person in January, $65 per person in February, $75 per person in March, and $90 per person in April.
