Missing the Sun?
Long periods with lack of sun can have a negative impact on your mood and your sleep. One way to combat this is with a sun lamp.
- Benefits of sun lamps:
- Regulates sleep cycle
- Improves mood
- Reduces anxiety/stress
While sun lamps have shown to have benefits, they do not provide Vitamin D the sun gives us. Spending periods of time with lack of sun exposure can also mean you are not getting as much Vitamin D. Lack of Vitamin D can cause symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes and depression. Make sure you are getting enough Vitamin D throughout the Winter by eating foods high in Vitamin D such as...

"People reported that happiness and love sparked activity across nearly the entire body, while depression had the opposite effect: It dampened feelings in the arms, legs and head.
