Student Code of Conduct
Our goal is to work together to provide a quality education and safe environment for all students. We know that providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students is essential to student learning. Therefore, it is important that parents and/or guardians read and discuss the Code of Student Conduct with their children. We need your support to teach and reinforce the student rules of conduct.
School Choice Changes
There will be a pause on any choice option changes (Traditional or mySchool) from August 20th until August 31st.
Health & Wellness / Reopening Guidelines
Public Health Actions
Our goal is to create an environment that provides an opportunity for students to return to the traditional school experience, while providing effective safeguards to protect the health and safety of students and staff.
- Practice safe social distancing to the greatest extent possible.
- Post signage and provide lessons to strongly encourage frequent hand washing and hygiene practices.
- Ensure hand sanitizer is available throughout the campus.
- Increase cleaning protocols throughout each campus, including replacing air filters more frequently.
- Limit group gatherings.
- Face coverings required for students and staff on campus.
- Expect symptom screening for all staff and students.
- Ensure any staff or students who exhibit symptoms are not at school or in the workplace.
School Bus Safety
- Students are required to wear face coverings on the bus.
- Clean high touch areas between runs.
- Ensure hand sanitizer is available on each bus.
- Disinfect each bus thoroughly at the end of each day.
At the elementary school level, we are creating a cohort isolation model, where students will spend time on campus with the group of students in their class, including in the classroom, the cafeteria, media center, and the playground. Interaction with students from other classes will be limited to the greatest extent possible. If a student displays symptoms of illness, it will likely impact their cohort classmates, and not the entire school, in terms of quarantine or other interventions. Additional information can be found on our District Web Page.
Student Self-Screener
Pasco County Schools expects that all parents/guardians will complete this pre-entry screening tool daily on behalf of their child before the child attends school. These are questions for you to check each day with your child. You do not need to send this form in.
Parent COVID Response Protocol
School and parent partnerships are critical to ensuring all students are properly supported, and that staff have the information they need to assist students. A Parent Response Protocol has been developed to assist parents in understanding the health and safety procedures established by Pasco County Schools in collaboration with the Florida Department of Health in Pasco County.
Transportation
Bus Riders
All bus passes will be generated when families complete the Digital Emergency Cards. This year our system will take up to 48 hours to generate a pass. Please review the Transportation Services Orientation Information.
Car Riders
All car riders will need a car tag. If you do not have a car tag for the 1st day of school, please call our office on Monday, August 24th. We will have one ready for you at dismissal. If you do not have a car tag, we will need to see ID and verify with the Emergency Card. You may stay in the car line as we verify.
We ask that you be patient with us on the first few days of school. You can expect a longer process to ensure the safety and security of our students. Please review our Car Rider Procedures.
mySchool Online Students
All mySchool online students will need materials for their learning. Students will receive curriculum books and math manipulatives. If you have not picked up these items, please call our office to schedule an appointment.
Devices
If you have requested a device and have not picked it up, please call our office to schedule an appointment. We are limited on devices.
Tech Support
If you have any technical difficulties, please call our office.

All teachers have attempted to reach out to all families to share important information and their schedules. If you have not talked to your teacher, please email them as soon as possible. You can find all staff emails on our school webpage.
