Math
We will focus on building a math community this week. There will be some review of 4th grade skills, but we won't start on new 5th grade learning until next week. This week and next, I will do homework with the kids to show them how I want it done, so don't expect them to bring homework home yet.

This week we will have several STEM challenges to practice teamwork and get to know each other! We will learn about the different kinds of science and read about famous scientists.
