Hillsboro Hops Scholarship- due March 5
The Hillsboro Hops would like to remind you that our Dream Big Scholarship, geared towards graduating high school Seniors, is now accepting applications. The Dream Big Scholarship will be a one-time $2,000 award to a first generation college student (neither parent/guardian with a 4 year degree). Applications are now open and can be accessed via the link below and will close on March 5th at 11:59pm. More details on the criteria and other requirements can be found via the link below.

SBHS will be hosting this informative event, targeting juniors but open to all ages, on Tuesday, April 25th at 6pm. Get this on your calendar! One student in attendance will win a $1000 scholarship to use at the school of their choice.

ASVAB Results Moved to March 8th
Is West Point for You?
On Friday, March 24th, from 6:00-8:00pm, CPT Richard Mendoza, the Far West Admissions Officer at West Point, will host an in-person briefing at the National Guard Armory in Clackamas. Students, parents, guidance counselors, and others interested in West Point are welcome.
CPT Mendoza will discuss life as a Cadet at West Point and the early career of a US Army Officer. He’ll also discuss the admissions process and there will a question and answer session following the formal briefing.
There will also be local Oregon volunteers in attendance to help with any questions you may have.
