What is Google Expeditons?
Google Expeditions is an immersive education app that allows teachers and students to explore the world through over 1000 virtual-reality (VR) and 100 augmented-reality (AR) tours. You can swim with sharks, visit outer space, and more without leaving the classroom.
What is AR and VR?
Virtual reality (VR) is able to transport the students. In other words, bring us some place else. This is done using VR goggles.
Augmented reality (AR) however, takes our current reality and adds something to it. It does not move us elsewhere. It simply “augments” and brings something to us. This is done using a tablet or device.

How do I sign up to do Google Expeditions in my classroom?
1. Book at time to meet with me to pick out your "expedition" or pick out an "expedition" on your own.
2. Decide if you would AR or VR.
3. You can search for "expeditions" using either of these resources.
4. Book a time date and time for us to bring the Google Expeditions for you to lead in your classroom.
