Holiday Food Drive
This year the Faith House of Servus will again be partnering with the Capuchin Community Services to distribute food boxes to guests served at two sites: House of Peace & St. Ben’s Community Meal. Many guests served at St. Ben’s have access to a kitchen but don’t always have food. Many of those served by the House of Peace are working people who have to rely on our Emergency Food Pantry to help feed their families.
The holiday food boxes contain a turkey and the traditional holiday fixings including stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce and more. We are asking you to support the Faith House of Servus and this service project to bring in the food items to fill those boxes!
Our school goal this year is to fill 50 holiday food boxes to help 50 local families in need! Each class will be responsible for bringing in a specific food item; each food item is a crucial component of the holiday food box. See the list below for the class, the food item, and the quantity of food items.

Sacrament Preparation for Catholic East Students is provided by UPLIFT Families, the Religious Formation program which serves the parish communities of Family of Five Parishes (Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Old St. Mary, Three Holy Women, Saints Peter and Paul, and Our Lady of Divine Providence).
We are offering Sacrament Preparation classes for children who have been baptized and are currently in 2nd grade or older. If you have a child who has been baptized, you can sign them up to have preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion in the Catholic Church.
The Sacrament Preparation classes for First Reconciliation will be conducted during school starting in mid-December through January.
**There will be a required parent-child retreat to prepare for First Communion. The retreat will be offered on Saturday, February 17th 12:30-3:30 pm and Sunday, February 18th 2:30-5:30 pm. You can choose to attend either date.**
