Dear Longacre Families,
It was nice to see many of you during my Question and Answer sessions last week. Thank you for your time, feedback and suggestions. This week you will have the opportunity to attend Curriculum Night with your child's teacher. The purpose of Curriculum Night is to provide you with an opportunity to learn about your child’s classroom, the learning outcomes of his or her grade level and gain a greater understanding of your child’s school experience as a learner and leader. Please look for an email from your child's teacher regarding Curriculum Night details.

Monday, September 14
- 6:30 p.m.- Mrs. Vlahos' Curriculum Night
Tuesday, September 15
- 6:30 p.m.- 1st grade Curriculum Night
- 6:30 p.m.- Mrs. Dibella's & Mrs. Hancock's Curriculum Night
Wednesday, September 16
- 4:30 p.m.- Kindergarten Curriculum Night Q & A- teachers will send pre-recorded video prior to question and answer session.
- 5:30 p.m.- 3rd grade Curriculum Night Q & A- teachers will send pre-recorded video prior to question and answer session.
- 6:30 p.m.- 4th grade Curriculum Night Q & A- teachers will send pre-recorded video prior to question and answer session.
- 6:30 p.m.- 5th grade Curriculum Night
Thursday, September 17
- 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.- Art, Music & P.E teachers Curriculum Night Q & A- teachers will send pre-recorded video prior to question and answer session.

PTA Meeting- Thursday, September 17
Please join us for our first PTA meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 17th at 7:00 p.m. A meeting link will be sent to families ahead of time.

It is time to join the PTA for the 2020-2021 school year!
We need your support more than ever during this challenging time so we can help our staff and
students with additional resources. Joining the PTA does not require you to attend meetings or to volunteer. Each membership helps us to reach our budgeted revenue to fund all of the great
programs and activities at Longacre.

Get Creative with PTA Program Reflections
This year’s theme is I Matter Because...
Students can submit up to two entries in each category: photography, visual arts, musical
composition, dance choreography and film production. Longacre PTA will register for the
school and information on submissions will be given in each classroom when available.
Help! The kids are STILL home! Parenting + Remote Learning 2020-21
