Holy Cross Catholic School
From the Desk of Dr. Melissa Wagner
February 23, 2024
Our dedicated educators have been integrating reflections and discussions into the classrooms. Our goal is to deepen the students understanding of Lent, focusing on the themes of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. All of our students colored Alleluia signs that are put away during Lent and will displayed after Easter. This is one of my favorite traditions as we are able to visibly display that we are rejoicing that He has Risen. We were able to pray in our Faith Families and ended the week almsgiving to our St. Agnes friends raising $400 to support the victims from last week's tragedy. Thank you all for you support.
As we fast on this Friday, we encourage everyone to come together for our Lenten Dinners. This week the Altar Server Lenten Dinner is to help raise new albs for our altar servers. The flyer is listed below. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight.
Have a great weekend!
