If you plan to have any music played during your act, this is a reminder to provide all music (emailed as an MP3 file, not a CD, in the version you plan to use) by January 21st to cstevens@cbsd.org. (This is an extension from the original date of January 14). All music and words must be appropriate to the elementary school environment. If you are singing, you must send in a karaoke (instrumental) version.

We can’t wait to hear all about your act during our in-school check-ins next week!

Congratulations to December's Boomerang Award Winners: Leah Tellner (5th Grade), Reece Reardon (4th Grade), and Chloe Tellner (3rd Grade)! These students demonstrated the character trait of Responsibility.

The Boomerang Youth Recognition Award is a district wide program which recognizes and celebrates youth in our community for exemplifying the chosen monthly Developmental Asset. For more information, please visit the CB Cares Educational Foundation website.

The January Boomerang Asset is Equality and Social Justice - Young person places high value on promoting equality and reducing hunger and poverty. If you know a student who exemplifies this asset, please complete a nomination form by Wednesday, January 26th and email it to Liz Meier, our student support counselor, at emeier@cbsd.org.

Finding that ideal job is the challenge and for our children it is often a matter of “trying things on” to see what fits. Order your Gayman 2021-2022 yearbook with a few simple steps:

3. Orders are due by April 12th.

Visit www.cbsd.org/register for more details, including necessary documents to gather in order to register your kindergarten students. PLEASE CONSIDER REGISTERING RIGHT AWAY IN ORDER TO AID THE DISTRICT IN ITS PLANNING FOR 2022-2023.

Parents and guardians are able to submit an absence request via the Parent Portal. When a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, a text message and email will be sent.

All attendance questions can be directed to Christine Stevens, cstevens@cbsd.org, in the Gayman Office.

To volunteer or chaperone, your clearances must be up-to-date. If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions.
