A Poem for Grandparents

Thank you, grandparents, for all that you do.

Where would we be without you?

You set good examples. You show us the way.

You make us smile, even when we have a bad day.

You let us do things we probably shouldn’t.

You make us do things we thought we couldn’t.

You are not selfish. You are kind.

When we are tense, you help us unwind.

Just know that we love you,

And admire you too.

You are our inspiration,

And deserve much appreciation.

Grades K-7 > The homeroom with the most Box Tops by June 8 will get a no uniform day the following week.

Grade 8 > Special Graduation Incentive > Each student who brings in a minimum of 50 Box Tops will have a no uniform day ON June 8.

Hint to grades K-7 > Keep collecting over the summer to get a head start on our first contest for 2018-2019!

The Auction Committee is getting ready to start planning next year’s auction and would like your help! There are many aspects to planning an auction and everyone has a skill which we can use.

Can you type? Data entry people are needed.

Are you creative wrapping gifts? Join us to wrap auction baskets.

Do you have web design skills or are you able to create a booklet? You would be perfect to create our web page or to create the auction booklet.

In addition to the above, we need people to write thank you letters to our donors, create our Wine & Dine Mystery Bags, advertise our event, or help with soliciting donations, either in person or by typing the donation letters.

A little bit of your time and skills will help our auction be a great success. If you are willing to donate some of your time and skills, or have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ladylin1016@gmail.com

Are you cleaning out closets and basements? Are you looking to get rid of gently used and new books? Drop them off at school. We well be having a Used Book Sale in conjunction with the annual Car Show in the fall (September 15). We are currently accepting children's books, textbooks, good books, boring books and even those books you were forced to read for school. We will be accepting donations through September. Thank you!
