Enrichment Updates
Important upcoming Enrichment dates and information can be found here!
Returning library materials? Please keep in mind:
Parents should still have access to their old library system accounts. By logging into your account, you should be able to see which items are checked out to your child(ren).
If you are unable to access your old library account, please feel free to call the school and speak with a Library Specialist, who can check to see if any items are still checked out to your family.
There is no need to separate enrichment and library materials when returning them to the library.
There is no need to add library materials to students’ inventory sheets when returning them to the library. Each library item has an asset tag on it, which our librarians will use to check it in.
Thank you very much for your help with getting those items returned!
Returning enrichment materials? Please follow the instructions on this sheet, and thank you for your help!
As a reminder, the final day to place product, service, and tech orders for the 2020/21 school year is April 15th.

Mindset Monday March Topic: Self-Compassion and The Power of Mistakes
We learned so much in our class last week about
“The Power of Mistakes” and “Self-Compassion”.
Do you know what Neuroplasticity is?
In case you missed, here are the recordings you can watch and the resources you can review to learn more about it!
Schoolwide Learner Outcomes
The Schoolwide Learner Outcomes are goals that we have for the students at Pacific Coast Academy. By receiving an education with us, our goal is that by the time a student graduates high school, the SLOs will be incorporated into a student's life.
One goal, as educators, is to help our students become independent in their learning and thinking. Let us know how you support this or observe this in your students.
Let's Investigate:
Independent Critical Thinkers
Independent critical thinkers who have the ability to problem-solve, take ownership, and apply their knowledge to a variety of problems.
Wondering where to locate PCA's SLOs? Click here!
Please share how you have observed students becoming or demonstrating the ability to be independent critical thinkers below!
