Dewing School Information from Mrs. Gerrish and Mrs. Bosworth
Hello Dewing School Community,
We hope you had a great February recess. We are sorry to see that Mr. Winter is still around, but we are trying our best to have students go outside as much as possible. Please make sure your child comes to school dressed in layers.
PM Dismissal Information: As a reminder, office dismissals must be completed prior to 2:30 pm for K-2 students. We need to make sure all students are accounted for daily and late dismissals make it hard. We appreciate your cooperation.
COVID Test Kits-If you signed your child up for a COVID test kit, these were distributed yesterday. Beginning the week of March 14th, we will no longer be placing the kits in envelopes, students will receive the kits with their names labeled directly on the box.
Read Across America: This week was so fun with our focus on READING! Our students all dressed the part this week. We really hope many students were able to participate in our at home reading contest. We will be accepting forms through next Friday. We add up the total time spent reading and determine which classes will receive a free book through the PAC.
21st Century After School Program-Our staff are busy planning for the third session of 21st Century. Please see the flyer below.
PAC Sponsored Enrichment: Next week, we will be welcoming Curious Creatures to the Dewing School. They will be here for 4 days so all homeroom classes will have an opportunity to explore the creatures up close.
