Attention Class of 2024
The Shawsheen Tech Guidance Office created the following document: Senior College Planning Checklist as a tool to help you complete the steps required to apply to college. If you plan to apply to a 4-year college, please review the document and reach out to your counselor if you have any questions or need clarification. Counselors will be visiting students in Related to give a general overview of the college application process but a 1-1 appointment with your counselor is recommended, especially if you plan to apply to college with an “Early Action” deadline (typically on or around November 1st).
Grade 9 Naviance Sessions & Shop Selection Surveys
We are conducting our 3rd Naviance session and shop selection survey on February 6th, 7th, and 8th. The focus of this Naviance session is centered around goal setting. Students will be asked to enter short- and long-term goals into their portfolios and these goals should align with their top three shop choices. Next week marks the 11th Exploratory cycle. We have three to go after next week. Stay tuned for more information about the shop selection and placement process as we will be facilitating a meeting for parents, students, and guardians when we get closer to the final selection.
