Current Attendance Rate - Currently, Stewart Elementary is at a 12% chronic absenteeism rate. Thank you for parents for making sure your students are getting to school! (Stewart Attendance Goal - maintain chronic absenteeism rate under 13%)

After a small setback, we will be planning to send these attendance magnets home this month. All students will be coming home with an attendance fridge magnet (posted below) and a dry erase marker. This can be helpful for tracking your child's attendance at home throughout each trimester and will assist Stewart Elementary and the Washington CSD with improving student chronic absenteeism.

A few reminders from the nurse - with the weather getting colder please be sure to send your students in appropriate clothing; winter coat, hats, and gloves!

Students return to school Monday, January 6th 2025!!

There will be a WCSD Board Meeting Wednesday January 8th 2025 @ 7pm.

Stewart Boosters will be meeting in the Stewart Library on Monday, January 13th at 5:00pm. All are welcome to attend.

There will be no school on Monday, January 20th.
