Welcome Home Witches!
We are anxiously awaiting the return and official opening of the 2023 - 2024 school-year. Our dedicated staff have worked all summer to prepare engaging activities that will prepare our scholars for their college and career choices.
It is our mission to equip scholars with the knowledge and transferable skills necessary to achieve their goals. Parent and guardian involvement is not only welcome but an integral part of the student experience at Salem High School.
Grade 9 scholars will begin school this Monday, 8/28/23 and grade 10 -12 will begin on Tuesday, 8/29/23. It is important that our scholars are on time to school. Consistently missing time first period will have a detrimental impact on success and maintaining a trajectory to accomplish goals and meet milestones.
School Hours: 7:45 - 2:35
School Site Council:
I am looking for parents/guardians that would like to volunteer to be part of the Salem High School Council. This group will consist of administration, staff, parents, and scholars to look at important issues, initiatives, challenges and guide Salem High School forward.
Bus Passes:
Scholars will receive their bus pass the first week of school.
Schedules:
There will be time for scholars to meet with their counselors the first three days of schools to adjust their schedules if needed. We will go over this in crew on day one.
I look forward to seeing you all, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, gburns@salemk12.org
Be About It,
Glenn
